Specialist English Tutor West Hampstead – GCSE & 11 Plus

My name is David, and I provide English tuition in West Hampstead for students from local schools such as West Hampstead Primary and Emmanuel Primary. I bring a Bachelor’s in Education and over two decades of experience to my role as a private tutor, supporting students as they work towards their academic goals. For GCSE and IGCSE pupils at Hampstead School or Queen's Park Community School, I address the full scope of the English Language syllabus. This involves preparation for 11 plus and 13 plus entrance examinations, including advanced comprehension and verbal reasoning. Pupils might learn how to use onomatopoeia to improve their creative writing or work on identifying patterns in shuffled sentences. By practising under exam-style conditions, students become comfortable with the format of independent school entrance assessments. This comprehensive service has been instrumental in my students securing places at top schools.

As part of this preparation for entrance exams, I also provide sessions for interview practice.
